This adventure begins at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe and ends at Maun Airport, in Botswana. Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met by a member from the team who will drive you to Matetsi River Lodge.
Victoria Falls is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles. Declared a World Heritage Site, the Falls are the stuff of legends, romance and myth. Long before the Scottish missionary and explorer, Dr David Livingstone ‘discovered’ the Falls in 1855, the local Batonga people had named them Mosi-oa-Tunya, ‘the smoke that thunders’ Today, the village rightly claims the title of Adrenaline Capital of Africa, home to a seemingly endless variety of adventure sports from bungee jumping to canoeing and white water rafting.
Spend two nights at Matetsi River Lodge. Accommodation is in a spacious suite with private deck, plunge pool and a magnificent view of the Zambezi River. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, daily lodge activities and park fees

Today you will be collected from the lodge and driven across the border to Kasane Airport, in Botswana. From here you will board a light aircraft for your flight to Kwando Lebala.
The Linyanti Wildlife Management Area is a hidden gem, tucked away in the northeastern corner of Chobe National Park. The Selinda Spillway links Linyanti to the Okavango Delta and it is renowned as one of the best game viewing areas in the region, supporting a great diversity of wildlife, with large herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra. Due to its remoteness, the Linyanti is a gorgeous, unspoiled region of waterways and lagoons, riverine forests, huge trees and palm tree islands. Game viewing is superlative in both the wet and dry season and the birding is exceptional.
Spend two nights at Kwando Lebala. Accommodation is in a spacious tent with ensuite Victorian bath and an open air shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, spirits and beers (including premium brands), teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, daily lodge activities and park fees.
Adventures include twice-daily game drives in semi-open 4x4 vehicles, with guaranteed window seat and nature walks (seasonal).
Today you will be flown by light aircraft to Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp.
A maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown islands teeming with wildlife, the Okavango Delta likes like a sparkling jewel at the heart of the Kalahari Desert. Known as “the river that never finds the sea”, crystal clear channels spread over the thirstlands of the Kalahari with their papyrus-fringed banks and fertile floating islands. Adapted for a life in and out of the water, the elegant red lechwe and shy sitatunga are found in this watery wilderness. Lion, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog, share the floodplains with large herds of elephant and buffalo. Hippos inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons, while honey badgers can be seen in broad daylight. Tall termite mounts are homes for families of dwarf and banded mongoose. Experience the delicate details of the glistening waterways on a mokoro ride, where iridescent dragonflies, frogs of every colour and jewel-like kingfishers live in the papyrus-lined banks.
Spend two nights at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp. Accommodation is in an East African-style safari tent, raised on a wooden platform with a private deck overlooking a floodplain. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, daily lodge activities and park fees.
Adventures include meandering along the floodplains of the Delta by mokoro (dugout canoe), exploring the deeper channels by motor boat, nature walks accompanied by a professional guide or tracking game in an open 4x4-safari vehicle, in the mopane forests and open grasslands. The added highlight of an early evening, spotlit game drive assures you of an unforgettable wildlife experience in Botswana.
Today you will be collected from the lodge for your light aircraft flight to the Tau Pan Airstrip.
In the heart of scenic Botswana lies the world’s second largest wilderness sanctuary -the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Larger than Denmark or Switzerland, this pristine slice of untamed Botswana landscape is a display of vast open plains, saltpans and ancient riverbeds. The reserve is home to a plethora of fauna that range from intriguing reptiles and insects to antelope, wildebeest, jackals, cheetah and lion. It is also home to the San Bushmen, whose ancestors first roamed the Kalahari some 30 000 years ago. Within the sprawling 52 800 square kilometres of the reserve lies the magnificent Deception Valley - whose name derives from a vast dry pan that, from a distance, gives off the impression that it is a filled-to-the-brim lake. This area offers exceptional photographic opportunities and should be on everyone’s list when visiting the reserve.
Spend two nights at Tau Pan Camp. Accommodation is in a custom-built desert room under thatch. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, spirits and beers (including premium brands), teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, daily lodge activities and park fees.
Adventures include twice-daily game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle as well as guided walks with a San who will explain and entertain you by answering all your questions from birth to marriage to bush survival.
After a delicious breakfast, we wave a fond farewell as drive back to the airstrip for your light aircraft to Maun Airport.
